94 GSR swap into 98 ex civic
So, I searched and searched to start....
94 GSR swap into 98 civic ex. Anyway, never gone the other way with OBD before. So, I have OBD2 alt and injectors off of a previous ITR swap to use. I'll need the OBD2 dizz, does it have to be B series or will the D16 work. Anything else I'll need? I was just going to use the ex civic harness. I have a spare JDM type-R ECU that I will run in the beginning. (Putting in CTR cams and p73-00 pistons)

looks like you answered your questions already.
you will need 99-00 si T bracket
front brackets
you will reuse your stock upper mounts/brackets

got all the hardware too, just worried about the electronics...should have been more specific. What about that D16 OBD2 distributor? Usable or does it have to be B-series. All plugs/sensors compatiblle? I'm thinking so since I just put a 98 engine into a 94 car. They were both Tegs though.

if he's going to be runnning a obd2 ecu, he'll need an obd2 dizzy b/c it has more sensors (im 90% sure... anyone want to comfirm?)
also, the obd2 ecu will also look for the ckf sensor on the oil pump, which the obd1 motor doesnt have. (again, can someone confirm this? i've heard that some jdm obd2 ecus dont look for certain obd2 usdm sensors)

If I can't use the D series dizzy, then I'll have to get one anway so I'll buy an OBD2 one. I think the only B series one I have left is OBD0. thanks for the help. I work for Acura during the day so I can get a type-r wiring harness for cheap anyway. Should I just do this? I'm scrapping the GSR manifold so no butterflies. I have little down time between my car and the other customers projects right now so time is worth more to me than a little extra cash. I need to knock this out in a day or less. that's no problem for me with the swap but I don't want to have a bunch of electrical gremlins. I sold my other car so i have to drive home the same day.
