Default 94 Del Sol Vtec, It doesnt have ABS... So what pads and rotors to get?

okay so i want to buy a brake package all four rotors cross drilled/ slotted bla bla, you know the works, but the place im getting them from says they have them for Del sol vtec with ABS and mine doesnt have ABS... so i was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem on a 94 Del Sol before, and if the ABS rotors and pads will fit on my car even tho i dont have ABS... The company keeps trying to tell me that the Non- Vtec will fight, and i know thats BS.... please help if possible

Thanks

No it actually is.. ABS isnt in the Vtecs until 95, mine is a 94 Del Sol Vtec it says so on the title that i have in my hand right now... It has the stock B16 in it, altho i rebuilt the OE tranny because of the grinds... (by the way 94 was the first year for del sol vtec)

I know what your saying but ask someone else who has a 94 Vtec... it DOES NOT COME WITH ABS... I have also looked it up on honda-tech and others agree... There is no ABS... and never was

It is if you do it right and in such a way that no one can tell it was ever there.

To the OP, rear rotors and pads will be the same regardless. '92 - '00 civics and '94 - '01 integras all use the same rear rotors, pads and calipers (I think '88 - '91 civics, '90 - '93 integras are the same as well) The fronts are where it gets tricky and a pic of the current rotor and caliper would really help. ABS civics use larger front rotors, non ABS are smaller, but there are some oddballs like the JDM civic SiR that use the larger front rotors and are non ABS. All '94 - '01 integras also have these larger front brakes on all trim levels.

gmacarize is right. In the US no del Sol got ABS except for the '95-'97 VTEC.

You seemed to have some issues understanding that he was right. So I figured I'd give a second opinion.

I also checked the parts catalog to be sure.

Ok so i take it you have the ABS issue settled. #1 My freind has a 94 sol and he just got some drilled rotors, yet his stopping ability is magnificent. (since the car is so lite and obviously its an SI so it has all rotor breaks)

And for pads.... If im not mistaken, i think its Hawk breaks pads are a good pad for a good price.
