94 del sol S mini me always runs cold
i bought a 94 del sol S from NH and the whole ride back the stock engine with 245k miles ran almost all the way cold the whole way. i know the temp gauge works because sometimes if i sit and idle for a few minutes the engine will warm up but it never overheats. i swapped a fully built z6 head on the b7 block and the car runs great except two of my cylinders rings are washed out and it still runs cold. im not worried so much about the rings because im storing the car fir winter and ill be rebuilding the block but i think i read or heard somewhere that a cold running engine can lead to oil sludge in the long term.. is this true? i havent looked to see if there is actually a thermostat in the housing but i know that could cause the engine to run cold. is there anything else that would make an engine run cold like that all the time?
also im not sure if the low conpression of two of my cylinders could cause my vacuum to be going out of whack? which in turn is throwing off my a/f ratio
