So I have a 94 del sol with a b-16 and just did a compression test. It came up between 165 and 175 psi. The motor has 243 thousand miles. Is that good compression or what?

It gives you an accurate reading plus it fills the cylinders much faster . The last thing you want is numbers all over the place. It is the PROPER way of doing a compression test.

The throttle angle directly affects the cylinder pressure when the intake valves close, so it'll affect your cranking pressure too.
