'94 civic with Integ computer...check this out
I have a B20/vtec motor and it has what seems to be ecu problems. I was at first throwing random codes now its more consistent. I throw 9 (CYP...#1 cylinder postion I believe) and # 17 which is VSS (I just need a new one). What usually makes the code 9 pop up. The book I have isn't really clear and this is a problem I have never encountered before. Any help would be appreciated. All flames welcome...cuz I can't avoid them.

Yeah...we tizzite like that. "Chad" said the code 9 can be a bad ignitor...but in the Honda manual (which I do not have at the moment) I think it has something to do with the distributor and Top Dead Center.
EDIT: And to TeamNextGenChris....the download will take 10 hrs

CYP = cylinder sensor. You most likely need to get a new one of course. It is pretty bad to drive on distributor codes. You should go to junkyard first because Honda will make you buy a whole distributor sub-assembly, you can't just buy the CYP sensor.

Yeah...and its really hard to find a OBD2 GSR just chilling in a junkyard...but I have a few sources.
EDIT: The dizzy is a OBD2 piece...not OBD1...it is run by a obd1 computer and the wiring is correct. Tom helped me with that.
