94 civic hybrid acts sluggish help
I have a 94 civic cx with a y7(1.6) block and dx/si head and intake system with a dx computer and the car acts real sluggish up to about 4-5k and u really have to rev it to pull out. The car bogs if u dont give it enuf gas when pulling out. Its even harder when pulling out on hills , i have trained myself to be able to drive it but i know its not right. Would the p28 ecu help out with this because this is very annoying to me. I have no check engine lights and the car still seems to get decent gas mileage . Thanks for any help

What the **** does "pulling out" mean? Like pulling out of a parking spot? And yes, to answer your question, the engine will work best with a P28 ECU. Does the DX ECU even allow you to use VTEC?

Re: 94 civic hybrid acts sluggish help (Archidictus)
Heh yeah what i mean by pulling out is when starting out from a stopped position , stop light, stop sign , etc. To carify i have a dx head , its the 16 valve head without vtec , sorry i was not as specific.

Re: 94 civic hybrid acts sluggish help (SD350z)
Well all the problems are just at low rpm's , once i get past 4-5k itll scream , it seems like the low rpm is getting flooded out or choked out , i have aem intake so its getting air.
