help ecu problem

ok well im trying to get my civic from behind the mustangs and camaros to way in front of them first of was getting the car i thought it had a vtec D16Z6 in a dx 94 2 door coupe but it just has a vtec paper whight valve cover see i still have a po6 ecu so im about to buy a p28 ecu what do i have to do to make it plug right in help please by the way if you have a manuel p28 for sale e-mail me at crazydude75927@yahoo.com

so, let me get this straight- you bought a 94 dx with what u thought was a d16z6 and thought u could smote mustangs and camaros? And all it had was a vtec valve cover?

if u have a d16 then the p28 should plug right in. but when u do that the o2 sensor is gonna have to be rerun, and more then lieky u are gonna have to change over your injectors, and distributor. i jsut went through the same prob but i actually had a d16z6 in mine, and how could u mistake the car for haveing v tec. ther should be a sylinoid right behind the valve cover.
