94 civic hatchback DX motor swap
my friend has a 94 civic hatchback dx and recently the engine died. instead of rebuilding the engine, he is thinking to drop a toyota motor into the civic, it's a 4AGZE. as told by my friend this is a supercharged motor and has potential.
so what you technical guys think?

total custom job. IMO if your friend is set to do the custom route, there are alot of better motors out there then the 4AGZE.

I fully agree. Why not just put a b18 in while your at it? If he is up for the task of a lot of custom work then go for it. Once it's done he will atleast be able to say it's a "toy civic". lol... good luck.

Re: 94 civic hatchback DX motor swap (92orangeeg)
^^^
FYI 92oranageeg
there are toyota corolla gts equipped with Nissan (sr20) and Honda (F20) motors.
and supra with RB26DETT.
just want to let you know swapping in motors from a different auto manufacturers isnt stupid at all. you may want to read or see more to widen up your vision a bit.

Re: 94 civic hatchback DX motor swap (sic my duc)
honestly one question, why would you want to do that swap?
Is it that it produces a lot of power?
Is it that you guys want to have a challenge?
Is that motor very accessable?
To me it kind of sounds like wishful thinking or possibly just a thought, however, i think it would be much more practical to just swap in a b18 and call it a day.
But if power and challenge is what you want, how about go with a k20 k24 swap and stick w/ honda?
there's many other options out there... dont fend away from honda, hondas go w/ hondas, dont play god.
