Hey Noob here with a few questions.
I have a 1994 Civic DX with the D15B7 and I live in Wisconsin and here we have emissions testing.....
Well the car failed in HC (Hydrocarbon) and CO (CarbonMonoxide or CarbonDioxide)
The Limit for HC is 0.8000 and the car registerd 1.5052
CO limit is 15.0000 and the car was 40.8708

Now the only modifications I made was a Magnaflow catback nothing else.

Should I mess with the Timing and what is the spark plug gap?
Any Idea what it could be?

BTW I had an 89 CRX Si that passed emission stock but as soon as I put a catco convertor on with 2" exhaust to a bolt up muffler and it failed emissions.

i ha the same problem in my 94 but i live in jersey i did a tune up plugs wires dist. cap and rotor. i also put in a new o2 sensor and right before i went i put in two bottles of fuel injection cleaner ran the **** out of it and passed with ease
