94 civic door lock

Lock-Ease (liquid graphite lubricant) is effective often in fixing situations like this. Available at Wal-Mart and the like. Either the key or the lock plates in the door's lock's cylinder wear; more likely the key. Follow the bottle's directions. Otherwise, disassemble the door and lock cylinder, clean thoroughly, and get a new key but only from the dealer. These sites can help with the lock disassembly:

If the tiny lock plates inside the cylinder look worn, go to the junkyard and pick up four or so lock cylinders and cannibalize for the correct lock plates.
