'94 Civic - Can I drive without Power Steering fluid?
I was wondering, since I have a PS leak if I can just drive without the fluid and not have power steering ? What bad affects could occur if any ?

The assembly underneath needs to be replaced if I keep power steering, would it be more cost effective to install a manual gear box or do what this guy did and rotate the fluid in the rack alone ? Or am I mistaken and they are one in the same thing ? I have an Automatic by the way.

You're asking the same question again. To get an intelligent answer, you must pinpoint the leak site. For example, if fluid is leaking from the one or both boots, you must replace the steering rack (gearbox).

Which part of the rack? Please don't answer because I know you won't. Answering your question requires knowing the leak site. I think you can take it from here.
