how do I replace this thing, its the upper #23 in this picture on the clutch pedal . Do i have to drop the pedal? i already have the replacement part.

this is a simple push in pedal pull the old one out with some needle nose pliers and push the new one in.
done!

the old one fell out, its not as easy as that i have been trying for a while, there is no real way to get my hand up there. Is it just 3 bolts and the pin on MC rod to drop it ?

I droped the pedal and was able to replace it pretty easily, search it seems a lot of people just disable the switch when these things go. here are some pics that might help other trying to do this with the pedal still in. if you find the blueish pieces of rubber in the 3rd picon the floor, you can look forward to doing this. the lower pad is easily replaced with the pedal still in.
