Picked up the hatch yesterday it was originally a autocar they converted to 5 speed Iit has a d15b7. At first it would run but whenever I went pass quarter throttle it would bog until higher rpms. Changed the plugs fuel filter and cleaned the injectors and it still did it. I unplugged the tps sensor and found that it ran no different whenever I plugged it back up it cut off. Ive reset the ecu and whenever I crank it it runs for a second, makes a gasp noise like its sucking in massivr air and cuts off. Could the tps be the culprit or should I look elsewhere?

You accepted it in that condition? It's probably the TPS. Take it back and have them finish the job they started.

Don't care how you bought it. You stated you just had work done to it and now you're having issues. Take it back and make them fix it.

I was having similar issues recently. First make certain that you have a manual and not automatic ecu, second check distributor, third and most likely your tps needs to be recalibrated.

What I meant was the previous owner had the car swapped, there's no way I would have accepted it back like this if I paid someone to do it
