Did you check the head light fluid? jk jk jk I personally would look for a vacuum leak. Are you running an after market computer or have you made any modifications to your ECU?

Is the check engine light on? What kind of ecu harness are you using, it should just be plug and play?

I had a 90 integra that I swapped a motor with a bad head gasket and some bad rings for the exact same and it had a very similar issue even though the it was the same motors and it turned out to be a vacuum leak to the intake that I would have never found if a buddy had not pointed it out. I would check it over and listen just to be safe otherwise I have no idea but good luck ether way.

No cel and ya thats y ended up getting rywire obd1 to obd1 converson harness for the ecu to plug into the tcu so i didn't have to wire thoes two things but still had to connect to trans and shifter but that was easy

If it was a sparkplug I'm going to guess you haven't done any kind of tune up.

i would start by getting a new engine harness. that one looks hideous and may be the problem.

Check and adjust your TPS if its out of adjustment. Does your check engine light work?
