I dont know how apart your motor is but...

oil pump
oil pan
alternator

as for your IM, presuming your delsol is '95< it'll make things easier if you went obd1.

and as for your tranny, I'm pretty sure you need hydro. Setup i had was LS/GSR tranny. My only complaint really was that with the LS power ban vs gear ratios, you fall flat at about 100mph. But would you need to go that fast anyway?

yeah, you'll just about top off at about 105ish? Stock LS motors, arguably, stop making "real" power after 5500rpms. From my own experience 105mph in 5th gear is about ~5krpms.

You won't be in any actual freeway battles, but you'll love the pull until 5th gear.

An LS tranny is just a trade off. You gain top speed, but at the cost of lateral acceleration.

hah, that's cute. but it takes more than a tranny to determine something like that.

I'll just refer back to, shorter gears = better acceleration, longer gears = higher top speed.

Any sohc with an ex/si tranny should be able to handle a crv with an LS tranny.

Shouldn't be that hard of a feat to beat any stock-esque motor with that transmission.

Gsr would be fine on the highway too.

If you have any plans for performance the GSR tranny is a perfect compromise between the short gears of the b16 and the long of the LS.

Gas mileage difference may not even exist between the two.

Besides, would you really sacrifice superior gearing for 1-2 mpg?

Yeah, but it doesn't matter.

You won't reach the redline in a B16 trans w/ a stock sol b4 **** (like wheels) starts falling off.

EDIT:
I mean do you really think ur gonna make it to 180mph? ****, iono, maybe you live by the salt flats...
