'93 del Sol - GS-R Swap - Turbo Questions
Hello,
I am looking at getting a stage 3 JDM turbo installed on my '93 del Sol with a b18c1 swap. It has a skunk2 pro series intake manifold, edge performance headers, high flow cat, full yonaka motorsports catback exhaust system. I was wondering what would be a safe Psi to run the boost at. I don't know much about turbo, can anyone help me? Thanks again.

wow
stage 3 JDM turbo? youve got some researching to do. there is no header in a turbo setup first of all. a turbo kit should consist of:
-turbo
-turbo manifold (which replaces the header)
-intercooler
-intercooler piping
-blow off valve
-wastegate (unless the turbo is running an internal wastegate)
-downpipe
-oil lines
-fuel injectors
-fuel pump
-some type of fuel management
and thats all i can think of at the top of my head. if that shop or person is telling you that those parts are turbo parts than you need to put a brick through their head. a high flow cat and exhaust system dont come in turbo kits or atleast ive yet to see one that does.

oo i see well just drop what i just said than. well knowing what comes in a kit will help too.
go research in the FI forum. PSI is irrelevant and it would depend on how much whp you are making. and dont go saying how you want a JDM stage 3 turbo either. if you want to piece a kit together yourself than do some research, otherwise you can just get a good brand name kit and get a good tuner to tune it.

Re: (iVteC_PoWeR)
two headers > one
FI forum would be the place to go. Most name brand kits are made to go. It is upto the tuner to figure out how much your setup will take. Do more research.
