93 Civic Si - starting problem after rinse
Im in the process of welding in a new driver side floor due to a rotten floor ,
in my 93 civic si d16z6, well the other day i go to start it (day after i rinsed it)
and once the key is in it it beeps to the key, second tuen my pump should prime and i should see the dash light up, it just makes a click and nothing.
So i was a little stumped, i turned the fog lights on to see if they would go on,
i hear clicking coming from my under hood fuse box (my fog light fuse is in there as well) as i walk around the car to hear where its coming from, im standing right between them, bam they go on...... ok so i walk back and turn them off, try to start the car and it started just fine, so i let it run for 5 minutes and went to bed.
next morning same thing this time once i turned the fogs on the clicking was only short this time then they went on. then it started...
today it starts fine. any ideas? what i should replace or fuses it might be? one is going bad obv... also when i rinsed my car i noticed water drips in my pass side floor, i located it dripping through my blower box (found that a very poor design for water) possibly some wire got a bit damp? and the current dried it up ?
please help

Thread titles MUST summarize the tech problem (be topic specific) so that members browsing titles can understand the problem without reading the post. Title edited.

its a pretty new red top optima.
the neg terminal term was a bit lose i tightened it up, i don't think that was causing it tho.
and if it were that how would my fog lights change the start both times?

I have a feeling you might be getting water into the right side front fender and in that kick panel is the ECU, civics are known to get water in that area, I would watch how you spray that fender area.
