Hi guys,

After some searching I still can't seem to find a wiring diagram on the internet so I thought I would just ask: I want to replace the speakers mounted in the front door of my 93 civic EX sedan. I need to sort out which wire is positive and which is negative.
On the Driver side I have Light grey with 2 lengthwise black stripes and horizontal silver hashmarks. Also Blue with green stripes and silver hashmarks.

On the pass side I have Brown with black stipes and silver hashmarks and Red with green stripes and silver hashmarks.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram that might help or a way of detrmining +/-?

(in case you're wondering why I don't pull in some proper wire, just trying to replace the torn speakers and detail so I can sell it, can't do another winter with chains, need AWD)

But,

when i upgraded my front door speakers both wires could be switched to + or - on the speakers and it worked either way. to this day my wires may be at the wrong terminals but the speakers work fine! no differance in sound if you cross wires over

Thanks Guys. I'm bookmarking the 12 volt dot com, that's exactly what i was looking for.

I now have 4 functioning speakers, I just won't put hip hop in the deck when i go to sell it.
