Are you sure it's exhaust fumes? Does it sound like you have an exhaust leak (sputtering)?

Could be running too rich or burning oil. How many miles the car has?

That's the third time this week someone has told me they aren't selling something out of the blue. My signature isn't what I'm telling you. It's a place for me to be funny and tell you a little about myself.

All I told you to do was get a new motor.

If you'll notice me telling everyone not to sell anything is on every post I make. It's a signature man, it's where I post my funny ****.

Not really. You can do general maintenance if you wish, like chanign the MAP sensor, O2 sensor, fuel filter, air filter, throw some new plugs in, change oil, ect, that might improve gas mileage and help it to not run so rich, but that really wont totally solve your problem. After 300,000km, its time to change your motor.

you cant really do much with a motor that has 300,000 km on it, that is just a plain wore out motor. just find a friend that will lend you a single cam motor for now and ;save up for a new motor.

oh and i have s single cam that needs a crank because the groove where the tooth key goes in to hold the pulley onto the crank is mess3ed up from the previous owner. i will let it go for cheap to help you out. let me know. i mean dirt cheap. runs perfect to.

It's too easy to spend $300 for a GOOD condition d-series instead of spending hundreds to replace a crankshaft on that old motor.

Look on craigslist, ebay, and this marketplace for a d-series longblock in good condition.

http://www.hmotorsonline.com/s...30021

Call em up and tell them you just need the longblock.

You don't need a lot of what's on that page.
