Default 93 civic fuel filter replacement

My girlfriend has a 93 civic with an original fuel filter. It's got about 111k miles on it. I suggested that it's time for a replacement. The thing looks a little forboding. Does anyone have a how to on the replacement? I'd rather get some advice before starting to take off any bolt I can find. Thanks

honda says that they are lifetime, but whose to say when it may or may not of collected enough stuff to eventally clog the filter. I changed mine aroung 100k.

The hardest part is bolting the thing back on. Removing the fuel lines is easy, just loosen the top bolt to get rid of the fuel pressure, and then unbolt both lines.

two bolts up top (banjo) undo those and the one bolt that holds it in place.
Oh you may want to relieve fuel pressure before starting unless you would like a fuel shower

Honda says 60k...not a lifetime!

E-Z; super easy.. remember to open up ur gas cap so that the pressure in ur gas tank wont push out as much gas out of ur fuel line; so u wont be driping gas all over the place..
