Default 92 si civic

this guy wants to trade his 92 si for my 91 crx...i was wondering what motor comes stock with the 92...is it the 1.5 vtec or the 1.6 vtec???

it is a 1.6 vtec motor. sohc motor and has around 125 horses. It might not have the words vtec stamped on the valve cover, but you can tell its a vtec motor by the vtec solenoid.

Since everybody wants to repeat the first guy's answer seconds later, I'll bandwagon to that...

D16Z6, 1.6L SOHC VTEC

Right, for the 92/93 it won't say VTEC anywhere. You'll just have to notice the VTEC solenoid or even read the block for the engine code assuming everything is original.
