92 dx hatch possibly bad dizzy help!
I'm not quit sure how to describe it but this is my sisters car and it's an automatic. So heres the problem the car starts and everything but sometime when you go to drive there is a delay on the acceleration. Im not sure whether say its bogging but sometime when I accelerate the car will not move as if it was not getting power and then it will die. I'm will be getting the car towed to my house this week. I'm just gonna throw out some things my friends said some said to try soaking my injectors in sea foam one friend said possibly bad torque converter. If need more info ask me I'll give the best info I can. Thanks

Re: 92 dx hatch possibly bad dizzy help!
It came on once when I tried starting it after it had died on me leaving the gas station, then turned of.a friends friend said he had similar problems and said he change his dizzy. The previous owner had never change any thing other than oil changes . Car ran good and strong before my sister owned it she drove for like 2 weeks then it's started acting up. I'm trying narrow down the possibilities before I start spending money and working on it.

If the engine starts, run it until the CEL turns on solid and then jump the service connector to pull the code with the engine still running. If the engine won't start, crank for about 30 seconds or so in attempt to set the code and then leave the key in ON(II) while you pull the code. What I am saying is, don't turn the key off when a code is set. This way you will avoid losing the code.
Also, if the engine won't start, listen for whether the fuel pump primes and check for spark.
