Just picked this thing up last night from some 16 year old and his mom sharing the ownership on the title.

Anyway the car is in great shape, but there are a couple things im not too familiar with. He said he was ready for vtec, but its running a p06, i know i need the p28 but will i have to run a vtec wire to the ecu?

What are some of the things i need to check to make sure everything will be plug and play when i get the ecu? Do i need a new dizzy? would an obd1 b8 dizzy work with a z6 head? Thats the only thing i forgot to ask him about the car so i dont know how to check what dizzy it is.

well i was looking at the wiring, i noticed that the vtec solenoid has some wires coming from it. One is a green plug.

So, no one has experience wiring a CX with vtec?

The 4wire o2 is already installed into the wire harness. The vtec solenoid with pressure switch is already installed. Assuming i have an obd1 vtec dizzy, i PROBABLY will be good to go just with a p28 installed but im not sure yet.
