92 Civic Swapped with LS B18B Harness Questions.
I have a 92 Civic Hatch with an LS swap using the LS engine harness mated to the stock DX ecu harness. I noticed although the shock tower connectors do connect, the shock tower pins are quite a bit different and Ive searched to no avail for a pinout diagram specifically for the shock tower harness for either car…(I’ve got the ultimate pinout diagram from Honda for both cars however there are some wires that aren’t mentioned on there. The car is a 92 Civic Hatchback and the Motor and harness came from a 94 Integra LS. As of right now the car will run fine and drive but every so often once its under a load (in gear) it boggs and dies. My conclusion is that all the sensors are getting readings..but they may be improper. If anyone has any experience/advice about it it’d greatly be appreciated.. I made a diagram of the connector and it goes as follows:
In this pattern: (This is the connector where you where the vtec would be wired in)
LS:
OOO (Blank) (Orange/Black) (Green White)
OOOO (Blank) (Yellow/Red) (White/Yellow) (Green/White)
OOOO (Yellow/Green) (Yellow/Blue) (Green/Blue) (Red/Black)
OOO (White/Red) (Red/White) (Red/Yellow)
DX:
OOO (Yellow/Red) (Red/White) (Pink)
OOOO (Light Green) (Green/White) (Yellow/White) (Red/Green)
OOOO (Blank) (Blank) (Blank) (Orange/Blue)
OOO (White/Yellow) (Orange/Black) Orange/White)
I tried to be as informative as possible but if this appears vague I’ll do what I can to clarify. THANKS!

I have that same exact setup. Everything is pretty plug and play. Use the LS ecu. The only difference in wiring would be the plug going to the map sensor on the firewall needs to be plugged into the map sensor on the throttlebody. The plug not used on the engine harness can be taped back and the sensor bolted to the firewall can be removed. If you want pics search 2 map sensors and you will have it. Good luck.

Re: (Endo-land)
problem solved.. i found it to be easier to go ahead and run a DX harness (a little more work with a little less research) .. had to learn the hard way but i'd recommend never cross breed harnesses unless you want a mal functioning swap.
