92 civic si - lsv swap- cranks but doesnt start.
I got this 92 si shell and drop in b18b/gsr head swap from a friend of mine. I used the si harness and p72 ecu it started right up no probs, no cel lights everything was fine. I didnt really drive the car much cause of NO plates, insurance, etc..etc Just started it and moved it around, up and down the street.
OK so started it up moved it back then turned it off and within 5min went to move it and nothing. Cranks over it gets fuel, gets spark but doesnt start. I noticed the timing belt had a small cut and heard of motors ( jumpin a tooth or skipping a tooth ) but not sure how to check if this is my case. Can anybody tell me how to fig out that theory?
I've checked all the fuses, grounds, plugs, changed ecu's, main relays and same thing all the time.

damm bro..it probably did jump a tooth or 2 by the looks of that timing belt..i would suggest maybe turning it to TDC and going from there...goodluck

For a car to run, it must have 3 things; air, fuel and spark. If you know your getting spark and fuel, your not getting air. If the belt did jump, your car won't start because your not getting a/f/s at the right time. I would take the valve cover off and use a feeler gauge to see if it's on time.

WOW. Relplace the belt first thing. Might as well do a water pump and all seals at the same time. I wouldn't even try to start it with that belt. If it hasn't already, it could damage your valves.
