92 Civic SI burning oil
OK I have searched the forum and did't find a thread on how to do leak down test. I am burning a little bit too much oil, dropped a quart in about a month. I don't get on very often (at least not over 6K) since I noticed some whitish smoke over 6K. I did compression test got 185 across the board, so I assume the rings are still decent. also some oil leaking onto tranny near the dizzy. I haven't noticed any loss of power, motor has 245K and its my DD only mod is AEM SRI. only other thing that is pecular is the idle is real low in the AM/cold. I have another D16Z6 sitting in my garage that I pulled the head off since I assume that my DD has some bad valve seals. I saw that a leak down test can determine that but how it that done. I can't afford the down time to rebuild DD motor, but if replacing the head from my old motor (94 EX) will get me time while I rebuild the motor from the 94. I am looking for link/how to for leak down test or do I need to go to a shop? Thanks for any help.

Re: 92 Civic SI burning oil (92CivicSiOEM)
If I recall correctly. You need to buy a leakdown tester and need access to a compressor.
