ik, so heres the deal. my mechanic had me put sodium silicate in the radiator. i drove home and the car overheated. i removed the radiator cap ( which was the original) and found it broken. i replaced it. still overheating. replaced the thermo, fan sensor(though it was working fine) and temp sending sensor. I bled the system throgh the bleeder valve conveniently located at the top of the cooling system. its still overheating but only at speeds over 35 mph or a sustained 3000 rpm. also it cools to the touch almost immediatly after parking and when the heater is on. im not losing fluid anywhere.
