There is some 4 door goodness out there, it just has to be looked for.

The hatchbacks are more popular because of looks and weight, that's all.

i've got a 4dr and i love it. I'm not gonna lie i've been looking for a hatch like a cx or dx but those are hard to come by for a good price. You should see the peoples faces when i beat them. It's great. And about the weight issue it's not a big deal. I weighed my car in at 2425 with a jdm b18c.

I used to own a 4 door 94 civic ex. I loved that car..loved the body and everything. But..I dunno..now i own a hatch and it "feels" so much lighter to me. i dont really know how much lighter the hatch really is but I prefer the hatch for driving, but the looks of the sedan. Im a sedan lover obviously heh.

Dayng, my 92 dx 4DR weighed in at 2425 also with me and my b16(blown up now) swap and a full integra leather. The 4dr actualy wheighs less than a SI hatch and it also has a longer wheel base. I ran a decent 14.6 with a B16 I/H/E. Now im building a high compression poor mans ITR motor, with a 4.785 final drive and hopefully an LSD. I wish they made a front lip for the bastard tho.

Much love for the 4DR !

I would trade my 99 B16 coupe for a 98 VSM sedan, with 99 front end (I hate 99-00 sedan rear end) and a B series motor ANYDAY. 4 doors are tight as ****, i'm sad I sold my 97.... it was automatic, and the tranny swap would have been more trouble than it's worth...

Slap a 2 door front bumper on it. My friend did that in his 92 4-door, same color as yours. Lined up pretty decent and was clean looking

Sedans have a strange tail-wagging / tail happy way about them. I had a Teg sedan and man when it let go, it LET GO!

I think with a Hatch if it lets go it is easily recovered with the right technique.

Prettymuch there is too much weight sticking out over the rear wheels.. makes the sedan a less than stellar handling car.. at the limits.

You only have one CAM, so you don't need CAMS.

i disagree 100%, have you ever watched rally racing? WRC? Roadracing? the majority of those cars are sedans.

I used to have a 92 LX 4door before I wrecked it. I ran a 14.7 with a B16A, DC Sports 4-1 and Skunk2 Intake Manifold. The 4door is like 8lbs lighter than the Si hatchback just for a reference...4doors are nice too, SO much more storage room than a hatchback.

Really?

Lesseee. Hmm Peugeot 206 WRC - winner manufacturer 2002, winner driver championship 2002 (Marcus Gronholm). 2 door hatchback

Ford Focus WRC - runner up manufacturer 2002, 2 door hatchback.

Ok, yes, the Subaru, Skoda, and Mitsubishi are four door sedans. However, with the exception of Peter Solberg, these teams sucked **** this year in their 4 door sedans.

The Citroen and Hyundai are not. 4 of seven teams in WRC are two door hatchbacks. So, I disagree, the majority are not sedans.

Shawn
