A while back I put the rear discs off a 92-95 hb si on my ej1. Most people put dc2 or other rear discs on ej1s, but I have yet to find someone wtih the si rear discs. The brakes work fine, however the ebrake barely does it's job. The cable was tightened, and if pulled hard enough, it will hold the car to a certain extent. But it doesn't work like it should. Would I need to switch out the cables with maybe ones off a dc2?

did you use the e-brake cables off of the si brakes or are you useing the origananl ones from your ej?

I have the same problem too. But my rear disc came out of a sir2. The only reason i can see why it doesn't work right is because i'm using a kragen ebrake cable.

btw, this is on a vx 95
