Default 92-95 Civic HB and Civic coupe

Ok, I want to know the weight difference between the two.
I am thinking of getting a 92-95 civic, i plan to drop a b16 in there aswell.
What are the curbweights of the hatch and nonhatch?
In other words, which ones faster aswell?

Thanks, Merry Christmas

If you search you will find it, I had the same question. I can't remember where I got my facts. But the hatchback is the lightest. I'd try a Sedan if you don't do a hatch, because if I remember correctly it weighs about the same, but has better weight distribution. Just a little tip, but the Hatch is lightest. Merry Christmas to you too.

I believe the Cx hatch's are the lightest (what I have )
I would go with a hatch reguardless since they look soooo damn sexy when hooked up right!

My hatch!

I agree, hatch's look the best by far (I also own a 93 CX)! But if you can't go hatch, do Sedan.

Very true, but I just love my hatch. And the SI Hatch is so heavy because of damned power steering, sunroof, power windows and all that crap you don't need!!! Have a great Christmas, if you were solely going on weight though, Get a Civic Hatch VX. and with a few parts taken off you will be down to about 1 ton!!! that's it, maybe even lower.

Did you actually weigh the car or is that a number you got from somewhere? I also thought it weighed in at 2094, but my buddy says the CX's weigh 2155 and the VX's weigh 2094.

Those weights for those years only. They all gradually get heavier, with the exception of the VX. That one doesn't gain any weight in it's life cycle.
