89-91 CRX Si wheels on a 94 EX
I have a set of CRX Si wheels that I desperately need to put on my 94 Civic EX. After searching numerous times, I've discovered that I need to either buy spacers or shave down my brake caliper brackets just a little. Since I'm broke and can't afford spacers or extended wheel studs, I'll be shaving the caliper bracket a bit.
My question is: How much shaving do I need to do, and will a rotary tool (Dremel, etc.) do the trick? Obviously, I'll mess with it until the wheels fit, but I want to be sure I have the correct tools before I start messing with it. Thanks for the responses if I get any.
Edit: 90-91 wheels, my mistake.

Re: (KillerEJ)
94 and 95 EXs without ABS had 10.3" rotors. I don't have ABS, but I do have the larger brakes, so that's my problem. I wish it was as simple as just getting different wheels, but that's not an option for me right now.

they fit over the 10 inch rotors no problem without ANY spacers.
I was running some 88 CRX Si wheels on the snow for a couple months over my stock Teg brakes up front. Friend of mine rolled them awhile with his 94 EX also. No shaving/spacers needed.
HX wheels are a different story, because the spokes are not far enough away from the caliper

They'll fit, did you have problems putting them on like they were getting stuck?? Any way before you think they are to small tighten them and drive around the block and come back and look for wear signs

I'd rather know if they fit or not before driving on them.
