88-91 Prelude Brake master cylinder for disk conversion..?
Hey guys, I've read pretty much every rear disk swap diy for 5th/6th gen civics on here and other sites, but I've yet to see anything about using the 15/16" brake master cylinder from an 88-91 prelude...just looking for a quick answer: does anyone know if that will swap directly into an ej as opposed to using one from a '94-'01 teg?

No idea on the Prelude M/C. The Teg 1" went right into my EJ no problem. Consider getting the DX or Si portioning valve for proper f/r bias too.

I've heard rumors before that they will, but I've never seen any proof, '90 - '91 Civic EX MC bolts right up to the stock brake booster though and is confirmed to work.

I wouldn't take anything from an '88-'91 Prelude and attempt to fit it onto a Civic of any year based on a hunch. Those cars and that generation in particular is a bit off from a lot of other Hondas.
