Default 88-89 or 90-91 crx si cluster in eg......

like the title states, will it work? i have 2 laying around and my friend just got himself a eg hatch with with a sohc swap in it. he has no tach and wants to know if it will work for him.......sorry for the retarded question but i couldnt get anything to pull up on the search function.

You have to rewire the harness and you'll need a cable driven speed sensor. IMO, tell him to get an 92-95 EX/Si cluster.
