Default 70 to replace drums.. or

70 bux 2 get sum1 to replace ur rear drumss or buy the tools to do em urself?? i cant decide. But is it hard to replace pads in the drums urself?? i already did my front ones,i just hafta bleed them..

it can be very difficult the first few times doing drums. JUst get a simple repair manual and do ONE SIDE AT A TIME to use for reference.

hey jack, how do u replace it though...? i hear it hard n stuff.. i dont want to pay no 70 bux for a stupid brake shoes replacement! help me out dude!

I would say search for a write-up on it on here but you would probably be better off to just go buy a el-cheapo haynes manual from your local auto parts store if you don't already own a helms manual... It seems complicated but it's really not a big deal. If I was to just tell you in a brief description on here how to it would probably just be more confusing then helpful. If you can find someone local to you that is willing to show you or oversee you doing it that is invaluable! I was shown once on one side of a car and i've done rear drum and front drum brakes countless times now! Just go ***** out bro and listen to emerika's advice about doing one side at a time to use the other side as reference!

I have about 200k on my hatch.

How often should the drum itself be replaced? I'm already replacing the pads...
