5th at 5 thousand??
On my way back to my house I opened it up today, In 5th gear at 5 thousand RPMs I was only doin' 110. what the hell. I have an EH2 with an LS motor in it. I know the gearing isnt that low, so whats goin on?

all you need is rpm's, gear ratios, overall tire size, and a calculator. figure out what speed you hit at certain rpm's in 5th and you'll know for sure.

Umm, yes it is. My B16A2 is spinning about 5500 RPM at 100mph in 5th.

yeap... just some simple math: for my old ls motor, 80mph=4000rpm. using some ratios, 50rpm/1mph -> 100mph = 5000rpm
what're u doing cruising around at 110 mph anyway?

One way to fix it is go as fast as you can and have a cop pull you over. Then, you can ask him how fast he clocked you. So, hopefully, you get your license taken away and get your st00pid *** off the streets where you will, one day, hurt some innocent life. We really don't give a **** about what you do with your life, but when you place innocent lives in the line, then you're asking for it.

What's bad is, that if it read 5500 on his stock tach, that wasn't accurate either.

Re: (rw92civic)
If you really want some change, get a new tranny, depending on your motor. I have a built B16 with a Y1 tranny and my third gear will hit 8400 at 109mph.
