Re: 5 lug type r conv. on an ek (Ehron)
Here's approximately how much the parts costed me:
ITR 5 Lug Conversion (used) - $690 (I got lucky and found a good deal, these usually cost $800-$1000)
ITR Master Cylinder/Booster (used) - $125
Goodridge Stainless Steel Brake Lines for Civic Si (new) - $110
Civic Si Proportioning Valve (new) - $70
Civic Si Parking Brake Cables (new) - $70
ITR Wheels w/ Tires (used) - $650
OEM Locking Lug Nuts (new) - $25 (for 5th lug nut)
ITR Spare Wheel/Tire (used) - $50 (don't forget this, you never know when you'll need it)
GRAND TOTAL FOR CONVERSION: $1790
If you want to convert your suspension to a Civic Type R, you will need:
Front: Civic Si or CTR LCAs, forks, sway bar, & all necessary mounting hardware
Rear: CTR sway bar
Also, get aftermarket springs and shocks to compliment this setup.
