Default 4g63t(dsm motor) into civic swap

i have been searching but not much info on these swaps..

if anyone has done it before or knows someone who done it please provide info

Stuff i want to know is what axels i must use, suspension, cluster, ect
i know i have to use the eclipse hardness as well as the ecu

Please dont say its a waste of time and money because i know but due to having a 4g63t laying around and a del sol i would love to make this a project..

you ever work on dsm's there a pain in the *** IMO.
why not put the 4g63 in something cool like a small sandrail or something. Don't taint the honda lol

btw ive owned a dsm for a very long time and i pretty much went through everything but this motor i have has 45K original miles

this is really easy.
custom made mounts
custom made axles
custom made wiring harness
custom made shift linkage
do you want it to be AWD?
if so let me know, and i'll finish up your shopping list.

If you're any good at fabrication you can make an adapter plate for it.

This way you can use the Honda trans - which will take care of 2/3 mounts + the axles.

My mistake, I'm talking about the FWD 6 bolt.

I didn't know eclipses had 7 bolts to be honest.

evo is also a 4g63.......................not alll 4g63's are from eclipses, plymouths or dsm

they also come from vr-4's

and evos of all generations (all the evos you heare about with cast iron blocks)

Ah, I C, I didn't know that.

Though he did state it was a DSM.

Either way, I was speaking of the eclipse, I should have specified, my mistake.

i agree with gsx running, ive owned dsm's myself and there not bad to work on if you know how to maintain them.
