Default 4-2-1 or 4-1

im swapping a jdm gsr motor into my civic hx.i want to keep things quiet and i dont care about smog but i do want good power out of this header?

what would you recomend the 4-2-1 or 4-1.....im going DC sports is this ok?

the exuast im getting is either RSRexmag, stock type s, or stock gsr. thanks guys.

Yeah it depends where you want your power. 4-1 is good for high end, but your low end drops more than 4-2-1. a 4-2-1, low end doesn't drop too much and gets decent mid-high end.

4-2-1 cause it got better ground clearance than 4-1

That's not entirely true. It depends on the engine and car, as well as the brand. I've never heard of the DC having more or less ground clearance than any of its other headers.

I already compare the DC 4-1 and the DC 4-2-1 cause i got both of those header. The 4-1 is on my 4dr gsr and the 4-2-1 is on my hatch (gsr swap) and my 4-2-1 doesnt dent itself like the 4-1 header. Plus i have more chances of denting the the 4-1.

I was just looking at the pictures of a 4-1... is that because all 4 pipes are clustered together like a square? Seems bulkier where the 4 and the 1 meet.

dc sucks imo, only reason i got it was that its carb legal. Saving up money for a greddy 4-2-1 or comptech 4-2-1
