Default 4-2-1? 4-1? 1 piece? 2 piece?

alright heres the deal...i've been looking for some cheap good name brand headers for a lil while and i found DC sport ones for around $290 shipped. now i have to decided weather i want 4-2-1 one piece, 4-2-1 two piece, or 4-1 one piece. my question is, which of those 3 is prolly the best one to go with for racing? all i have right now is a K&N SRI and a Magnaflow cat-back.

4-1 typically is going to yield more top end power on rev happy motors, the 4-2-1 usually helps on low to mid range power and can be helpful on the D series and such..this is just a generic overview and varies from motor to motor

4-2-1 two piece is so much easier to install. But if you plan on racing on high rev's, then 4-1 is better. If your car is lowered like crazy, stainless steel is less likely to crack than ceramic.

2 piece by far, you could be wrestling with a 1 piece for a bit to get it in..

yeah the 4-2-1 2 piece was alittle easier to get in than my old 4-1 1 piece but not that much easier. it all depends on what you want to do with your car: 4-2-1 mean youll have alittle better ground clearance and midrange and the 4-1 will have alittle less chance of cracking like wear the 2 piece meet and you will have better topend! so it depends on what you want!

go with 4-1 1 piece.

2 piece is lame. how much longer does a 1 piece take to install?

seriously.. like what, 3 minues of shimmying it in there?
