Default 4-1 Or 4-2-1

What is better preformance wise? 4-1 headers or 4-2-1 headers.

Is there something better?

All motor application only.

I would REALLY hope you wouldn't be asking this question if it was for a turbo car, since such header's obviously dont exist.

4-1 = top end gain... bad ground clearance

4-2-1 = mid/low gain.. better ground clearance

If this is on a SOHC you won't notice a difference.

And, depending on the manufacturer, your gains will be different.

4-1 might peak more hp while 4-2-1 might give better mid. But like everyone said, gains are minimal and choice is really up to you.
