3 Questions: Engine, Electical and Cosmetic
First off I found this piece in my trunk after the rebuild and have no idea where it goes. Car is a 1998 civic ex. It's a mount of some sort, looks like maybe radiator mount but idk. It is the picture with the Silver piece.
2nd - The picture where I am holding that relay type thing where it used to be hooked up to an alarm system is confusing me. Not sure if it IS part of the alarm system or was just tapped into. I did rip out the alarm system but wasnt sure if that was part of it or not. The other picture is me holding the wires that connect to it that go through to the harness. Is this piece important or not? Cruise and power door locks dont work and I feel this may be why.
3rd - How do you get all that nasty corrosion off of the ram air intake?

that might be a factory exhaust manifold bracket, I'm almost sure it is, usually bolted above the oil pan to the block and supports the downpipe

The relay you're holding is the starter kill relay from the alrm system you removed. You can leave it or remove it completely.
The thick white and red wire will go the cut blk/wht starter wire. Most are connected to the normally closed portion of the relay so the car can start if the alarm fails (removed in your case).
It doesn't have anything to do with your cruise and lock issue.

Awesome thanks for the replies! Guess I dont need that bracket sense I have an aftermarket system. And ill be sure to take that relay out. It just looks gross sitting in there dangling. Im gonna try to use a paint/rust remover grinder to take off the corrosion on my intake. Also have quite a bit on my strut bar.
