220 speedometer?

I found a 220 KPH speedo for my 92 hatch at a U-PULL junkyard. It has the 140 MPH scale underneath the KPH scale. It was in a stock purple 4 door automatic LX! Does anyboby know the country of origin on this 220 speedo?

Well in canada we use kph, so the car is probably from here, or the cluster is at least.
