Default 205/55/16 A032R's(16x7 +40 offset) what to modify on 92 hatchback so tires wont rub?

im not a racer or anything..i mostly use my car to get from point a to point b..i recently picked up a set of 16x7 +40 offset wheels and i wanted to mount some 205/55 A032R's on them..everyone i talked to says to get 205/45 tires so i wont have rubbing issues..but the A032R isnt offered in that size so i was wondering if anyone could help me out by either telling me how much of a rubbing issue i wil have and or what you did to solve this problem with a similiar tire and wheel combo on your 92-95 civic hatchback...im pretty firm on getting A032R's and if for some reason i have a hard time getting those my second choice tire is the falken azenis in the same size...im thinking the rubbing issue wont be that horrible since the 205/45 and the 205/55 tire arent that much diffrent in size...if its a matter of bending somthing out of the way or cutting away some sheet metal thats fine...i just dont wanna buy the tires, have them mounted and then find out they are 100% useless to me because they rub way to badly..so any help would be greatly appreciated(i asked in here because i figured you guys would know tires best)

yes they do but 215/45's are wider and taller then 205/55's

correct me if im wrong but the 215 or 205 means the width of the tire...the 45 or 55 means the sidewall is 45% or 55% of the width in height..so if i get 215,45's they are 45% as tall as 215 instead of being 55% as tall of 205 wich seems liek it is still a little smaller of a tire but i could be wrong..this whole tire sizing **** is giving me a headache

what it comes down to is bottom line i want either azenis or A032R's...either 205/55/16 or 215/45/16 i dont care as long as they fit with little or no modification..i just need to hear from other people with similar setups and sizes that it will or wont work on an eg...other wise the only tires i can get in 205/45/16 are all season max performance tires which are pretty much crap in my book..i want max perfromance tires for summer use only and track days
