2000 SI.. idle problem after oil change
I have a 2000 Si..stock ecu, stock everything on motor except aem cold air..
The car was due for an oil change and ran fine up to the oil change.. Now CEL comes on, and sitting at stop, idle surges up and down.. from about 200 to about 1400rpm..
Im thinking possible IACV.. but why would it run fine until oil change then all of a sudden do this?.. Anyone ever have this problem? I will go out and check to find out what it is coding for..

take it over to a part store and have them run a diagnostic (it's free). they will be able to tell you the code, then if you have any problems come back here with the code.
IMO, it does sound like a vacuum leak. double check you hoses, also can be a MAP sensor issue. when mine went out, it was like night and day.

Is the car OBD-1 or 2? Also, make sure that your oil dipstick is all the way down. If you search around in the FAQ you can find what code you have, and how to check it.
