B16A is the JDM B16A2 is the 99-00 Si EM1 Coupes
A lot of times the confusion comes when people talk about "first" and "second" generation motors (wrt to JDM). As far as I know, all JDM motors were B16A.

um del sols were only made here from 92-95 they had the a3.
99-00 si's have the a2.

um del sols were only made here from 92-95 they had the a3.
ummm considering they didn't make the "Vtec" Del Sol here until 94....
A3 = 94-97 vtec del sols(some had A2's in 97 I heard)
A2 = 99-00 Si coupes

Nope. Del Sols were sold in the US from 93 to 97. The OBDI cars were 93-95, OBDII from 96-97. The del Sol VTEC (DOHC) had the B16A3 from 94-95 (OBDI), and B16A2 from 96-97 (OBDII).

its directly to the left hand side of the manifold right where the dp connects to the primaries which is also directly in front of the radiators right hand side.
