Default 2000 jdm type r w/ LSD transmission in 94 civic coupe: Will s300 hondata help me?

I have a 2000 jdm type r w/ LSD transmission in my 94 civic coupe. I have a phearable chipped ecu. Rev limit extended, vtec early kick in and 2 step launch. If I were to buy a s300 kit, will it help me?

I have the s300 on my ecu. I'm running it in my turbo gsr. I had a chip prior to the s300. Once I had the s300 tuned, I noticed that my car was much smoother transitioning to v-tec and the over all driveability was better. Not to mention that hardly anybody wants to tune chips due to the fact that they glitch on occasion. S300 has way more tuning interface. A chip is basically a piggy back that modifies the stock ecu. S300 is a stand alone engine management system. Not even in the same catagory. definently worth the money. especially if your going to be running larger injectors.

I have heard of alot of people using it on turbo set ups. If I'm probably not gonna turbo it will it still improve my performance.

Obviously just changing over to it will not do anything for you.

However, it does have nice features and can allow for better tuning of the engine (depending on the tuner of course).

I don't know how your current setup is running, but unless it's just average or worse I don't know why you would want to spend the extra money.

What are your current/future goals for the car?

Well that's pretty much what I don't want to do. I don't want to waste 500.00 when I can spend it on something better.
My set up is pretty much stock as far as type r's go. Type r pistons, headers, cams, throttle. Everything. This car is mainly for the track. Maybe daily drive on fridays only. I want to get as much power as I can. There is no place to tune my car around here for 500miles. So I figured I would do it myself.

Knowing this info what would u recommend I do
