turbo questions
i have been doing research on HT and i see people telling others that they can get a turbo set up on their B18c1's for around 2 grand. I however have been looking around and can't find anything anywhere near that price range. more like 3500+ i've also checked out the marketplace and what not to see if i could piece one together but how am i suppose to know if it's a quality part i'm buying. any information that you guys can give me would be greatly appreciated. i know it was a rather dumb question but answers and not slander here please. thanks a lot
i got my turbo kit fo $2100 pieced together. ( from spoolin and lsd motorsports) but the engine mangement ( hondata ) was 545$ and ebc was 300$ , i got the injectors , ecu with harness, fuel pump off of ebay... it will be more close to 3 grand. and with installation and tuning your looking at a total of 4 grand.
depends on what parts u buy. u can get much cheaper engine managment for less that half the price of hondata. Installing the turbo yourself is quite easy as well.
hey man, can you give me some details on that turbo that you bought from ebay. like the brand that it is, the ebay user that you bought it off , how many miles have you gone on the turbo? anything you could tell me to help would be greatly appriciated
i cant really tell you who i bought it off because it was a while ago. but i can tell you that it looks like this one in the picture exactly.

also it has about 15,000 miles on it so far with absolutely no problems. Im running a banjo bolt restrictor on it so that might be why its still running perfect. Full boost with a 2.5 downpipe and exhaust is at 4800rpms in second gear.
im really happy with it
