So just a quick background.. I was a member on here many years ago when i had a turbo ls integra. Since then i have gone through a few cars and fast forward to now, i'm driving a 2000 civic hx with now over 202k miles on it. The motor was getting a little tired and i happened to come across a gsr sedan in great running shape, yet the body was trash. So what I'm looking to do is swap things over a little at a time.. motor tranny ecu. In addition im' looking at doing the brake swap.

I've read that for the rears its pretty simple and has been covered many times.. si e-brake cable, i can use the gsr spindle and trailing arm as well as the caliper. There are mixed reviews where some people change the prop value and some don't, so unsure if i need to change it or not. The problem comes into the front conversion.. I believe that the spindle is needed but some say you need the ex knuckle to mate to a ek, but can' ti just use the gsr front spindle? Once the brakes are on is it necessary then to do the prop valve? or even upgrade the brake booster or mc?

As I have the full car, i want to upgrade as much as i can. Any help would be appreciated.

dont forget to sell that HX engine.. people do still want these for their fuel economy!! I know it's off topic but thought I'd mention it.

about the prop valve, it's the exact same part for the HX as it is for the Si. No need to change it, you would only be changing it with the exact same part, lol!!

the FAQ will show you what rear trailing arm spindles that will work, I believe the GSR is one of them, just check the list.

Thanks! I did read that the spindles and rear trailing arms from the integra. Was told would also need the gsr brake booster too.

As as far as the front conversion I believe I can use the front spindles but need a ex knuckle? Figured that would be a direct swap with the gsr. Any other feedback in this?
