Default 2000 Civic Hx coupe

Hi, I'm about to get rid of my first gen integra, cause its just too old for my taste. But I am moving on to a 2000 Civic coupe HX model, the gas saver. I just wanna try to get some opinions before I go on to buy it tomorrow. I do not plan to modify this car, very minimal at the most. I want an economical car but not TOO sluggish of one either. It is silver, has 36k miles, clean title, a 5spd and is essentially in perfect condition, loooks great. I will probably be driving this car for at least the next 5 years. The guy is now asking for 7900.00 here in the east bay area. What do you guys think of this price? And should I consider the 2001 and up civics instead?

damn thats expensive. i have a dx model which is slower than hx, but with the 5speed it still does just fine for me.

Look at the differences in the gas mileage. Then go from there
