2000 honda civic d16y7 head bolts snap
so I used the 14 lb-ft step one then on the next step 36 lb-ft the bolt snapped why is this? please help with right specs for d16y7 as well as cam rocker nut 10mm rocker arm bolts 12mm and clearence

Either you didn't lube the threads before inserting them, or you reused tired, worn out studs.
I already told you in your last thread, get a FSM to get those other specs.

that's on the cam assembly holder for the rockers on the head. not head bolts and it should be torqued over 15 ft lbs no wonder it snapped...you went more then double the tq spec... smdh
